According to Gematsu, Kojima Productions is working on a new Silent Hill game.
That’s what the platform says in a news article about Konami and its most popular franchises. Earlier this week, Video Games Chronicle reported that new titles in the Metal Gear, Castlevania and Silent Hill franchises are being developed by different studios.
For example, Virtuos Games is said to be working on a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and other parts would get remasters on modern platforms. Also, multiple developers are said to be working on a Silent Hill game, one of which is a “prominent Japanese developer.”
” Gematsu has also heard that a new Silent Hill is under development by a prominent Japanese developer,” the platform says. “That studio is Kojima Productions, according to a publisher source who wishes to remain anonymous, who also reports that the game is being funded by Sony Interactive Entertainment.” Also Bloober Team might work on a new installment in the horror franchise.
